Route: Liberty Square - Baratashvili str. -Anchiskhati church - Peace bridge - Metekhi fortress - Narikala - Abanotubani - Waterfall Duration:4-5hours The history of Tbilisi dates back more than 1500 years, but first inhabitants came here much earlier. The city is full of secrets we will unveil: only 4 years ago an old city was discovered during the road renovation, and just recently ancient Roman baths have been revealed right in the city center. Tbilisi is a city of contrasts with a mosque, a synagogue, a Georgian and an Armenian orthodox churches are situated at one square, with different nations and religions living peacefully together and the state-of-the-art architecture interlaces with carved wooden balconies of old houses. We invite you to join the walk with a guide in love with his city. During the walk you will hear the legend of how the city was founded and what the role of the Sulphur springs played in its destiny, walk along the old city wall and look inside the oldest building in the city. Having taken a short break in the Legvtakhevi (Fig) canyon near a cooling waterfall, we will ascend to the highest point of the Narikala fortress to enjoy the best views of the city. Route: Tbilisi-Zhinvali reservoir-Ananuri fortress-Gergeti church in Stepantsminda-Tbilisi, 300 km Duration: 10-12 hours
During the trip you will:

Route:Signakhi - Nekresi monastery - wine factory Kindzmarauli Duration: 10-12 hours First, we will go to Sighnagi – one of the most romantic cities of Georgia, where almost every place offers unbelievable views of the Great Caucasus mountains. Local civil registrations office is open 24 hours, and all guests of the city can register their marriage simply applying a day before. After lunch in one of the restaurants with national cuisine we will cross the Alazani valley to see the Nekresi monastery. It's oldest building dates back to the VI century, right after the adoption of Christianity in Georgia. This place offers fantastic views of the whole Alazani valley. The tour ends in Kvareli – the center of wine making in Georgia. Uplistsikhe is an old cave city founded at the end of the II century BC. The city is located high above the Kura river valley, and you can endlessly walk along its streets. Only 150 caves out of former 700 survived, and the purpose of many of them are still points of the scientific disputes. The city of Mtskheta had been the capital of the ancient Iveria kingdom for 8 centuries and witnessed a lot of events: here King Parnavaz created the state and strengthened the country, here Roman troops passed led by Pompey, and exactly here habitants of the Eastern Georgia adopted Christianity after witnessing of Nino of Cappadocia. If you are a wine lover, we offer you to visit Yago, one of the most famous wine makers in Georgia, and taste wine made from Chinuri grapes and produced only here, and have a good lunch in the local restaurant. David Gareji cave monastery

Route: Tbilisi-David Gareji-Tbilisi, 250 km Duration: 8-10 hours David Gareji is a complex of cave monasteries stretching 25 km along the border with Azerbaijan. The first monastery was founded in the VI entury by the St. David Gareji. During the tour we will visit the St. David Gareli laura, go on the circle route and ascend to the mountain top from where on a sunny weather you can see all three countries of the Trans-Caucasian region: Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Also, the most interesting caves with the Middle Age fresco paintings are located there. We will visit the ancient refectory and tell you about the intended use of the monastery premises. A lot of stepp animals live on the territory – big lizards and tortoises, snakes, and it is recommended to wear closed shoes and trousers during the tour. Extra expenses: lunch

Route: Tbilisi - Eagle gorge - Khornabuji - Tbilisi, 350 km Duration: 10-12 часов The Eagle clove is a natural monument of limestone cliffs located 3,5 km away from Dedoplistskaro. Here up to 9 species of predatory birds can be seen, many of them (bearded vulture, black vulture, griffon vulture) are on the Red List of endangered species. Early morning is the best time for bird watching, that is why the tour starts as early as possible. After that we will go to Khornabuji, a multi-level fortress. This fortress built in the V century is a great sample of fortification. Shakh Abbasa, a historian, said that if the inhabitants of the fortress had access to drinkable water, no one would ever be able to seize it. Ascend to the fortress is a very twisted adventure and is only recommended to those who are self-confident and are not afraid of heights. But it is topped with a just reward: a tremendous panorama of the Alazani valley and the Great Caucasus. For lunch we can have a picnic in front of the fortress or go to Goderzi Gonashvili, a wine maker. Extra expenses: lunch
Borjomi and Rabati

Route: Tbilisi - Borjomi - Ahalcikhe - Tbilisi, 320 km Duration: 10-12 hours Our first destination point is Borjomi – a well-known resort famous with its green forests, beautiful nature and mineral springs. We will walk in the part, try the water from cold and hot springs, and, optionally, swim in the open mineral pool located in the deep in the park. Then we will head to the Turkish border and the city of Akhaltsikhe with an impressive Rabati fortress. The Rabati fortress was ruined many times, was often sieged and finally absorbed traces of different cultures and religions. We will start the morning at a Tbilisi market with Natalia, a culinary blogger and a great housekeeper. She will tell you all about Georgian spices and help you to select food souvenirs. Before the master class you will have an opportunity to have a walk in a cozy yard and taste rare types of Georgian cheeses. Then we will have a master class of Georgian cuisine: khachapuri, khinkali and two seasonal dishes (in spring these are chakapuli and pkhali). The main event of the day will be a dinner together, where we taste everything that we have cooked with a glass of wine sitting in a cozy living room with a fireplace. Before you leave, Natalia will give some advice on how to cook these dishes at home.
